Presagis and SNT link up

Presagis announced at ITEC 2010 that it has formed a partnership and reseller agreement with Scalable Network Technologies (SNT).
The agreement allows Canada-based Presagis to add SNT’s realistic models of battlefield communications to its STAGE simulation tools.
“Simulation systems operate on the assumption of perfect communications and do not take into account network priorities, such as spikes in voice communication traffic, which could interrupt and delay critical data and video streams,” said Eric Simon, Presagis’ director, product segment lead – simulation.
Los Angeles-based SNT develops high-fidelity evaluation modeling software for predicting network performance. Its main product is the QualNet developer that predicts wireless, wired and mixed-platform network and networking device performance and can supports simulation of thousands of network nodes.
