Norway companies debut projection, display systems
June 01, 2010
Projectiondesign of Norway launched a range of projector and display systems at ITEC 2010, including a new projector line it calls Remote Light Source.
FR12 Remote Light Source is designed for simulator applications where physical access is limited or restricted so maintenance requirements must be almost zero. The projector lamps are located to a rack-mounted enclosure up to 100 feet away from the projector head.
The company also debuted its F35 wqxga projector system for high-fidelity image generators.
Another Norwegian company, 3D perception (3DP), used ITEC to launch an automatic display aligning tool called Northstar.
At the center of the system is the Northstar nBox controller which scales, warps, blends and color-corrects visual content.
